first QnA response is about Taurus! i realize i misread the comment and responded on the part of taurus and luna rather than cosmos and tirek

1) when luna took taurus' egg from tirek and cosmos, they let her. they knew that their child would have no magic, and therefore be useless to them in their schemes. tirek privately looks back upon his union with cosmos with shame and regret, she was too much, even for him to handle. Luna raised taurus as her own, and tempest and the other kids all adore him.

2) taurus is a good boy at heart, and sometimes wonders what it would be like to have his bio parents around. he mostly wishes that they were good so that they would be with him. as a small child, luna explained that his parents lived on the moon because they did bad things in the past, and he would often gaze at the moon and wonder if they missed him. he doesnt really feel their absence, as he was adopted before he was born (technically). cosmos sometimes wonders if perhaps she would have been a good mother (she would not have), while tirek more than anything feels guilt, knowing that he brought taurus into existence knowing he too would bear his curse of no magic.

3) SISTER HUG!!! taurus gets along with pretty much everybody, and his adoptive siblings are no exception. midnight dream was only a baby herself when taurus came around, and they grew up like twins, sharing milestones and celebrating their birthdays at the same time of year. zodiac too loves his brother, but shows it more through conversation than hugs like their sister
