Starlight Glimmer can't believe how she's become so popular, even after she changed her wicked ways. Once she believed that cutie marks were the source of suffering and ran a society where anypony that came had their marks removed with "the Staff of Sameness" and became "equal." However, after Twilight Sparkle and her friends were summoned by the Cutie Map and had their cutie marks taken, they discovered she didn't remove hers and was using her magic to do it instead. Then, after they exposed her as a fraud, Starlight tried to change history to keep the Mane Six from being friends. Twilight offered her hoof in friendship and taught the troubled Unicorn the importance of uniqueness and individual talents. Starlight finally accepted friendship, and then, Twilight took on the reformed Unicorn as her student to learn the Magic of Friendship. While she used magic to solve problems a little too often and cause mishaps as a result, Starlight has played very important roles, like help defeat and/or reformed villains, offer guidance to Twilight and the students for her School of Friendship, and made friends with even former enemies, like Trixie. And now that Twilight is the new ruler of Equestria, Starlight is the current headmare of Twilight's school, and continues to guide everycreature to a better life than the one she once had. She pretty much has every reason to be loved. If not those reasons, she's very beautiful. Nod
