I’m adding the spoiler tags mainly because of the description, since this sketch is based on a kinda spoilery theory from the fifth episode of MYM Chapter 4, ||that Misty and Alphabittle might be related, or maybe she’s even Alphabittle’s daughter.||

This is my first attempt at drawing Alphabittle in his 30s, as he’s desperately looking for filly Misty in the downpour.
This time I was playing around with Alphie’s mane, making it a bit more similar to Misty’s in its tone. I really wish I knew Alphabittle’s true mane color tho, because he’s either born with white mane, or his mane is simply greyed from the stress ||of losing her daughter and possibly even his wife at some point.||

Besides I gave him a stubble, to make her look a bit older than a young adult, and also to indicate that ||as a widowed, working father of a 1 or 2 years old filly (I hc Misty was only at this age when she was lost), he just simply didn’t have the time to regularly shave his face.|| And later on he just went with this look. :D

Long story short, personally I still prefer Alphabittle with white mane even as young, and probably I’ll draw him like that until a canon depiction will prove it otherwise. It’s a bit hard to explain why, but I think it’s because white mane gives him a softer, warmer look overall, which I like better.
