I should probably clarify something first since the drawing came out looking a little weird. Xy and Vel are NOT a couple. They are merely platonic friends. Xy is just acting shy as he's never been very open about his sexuality and Velocity, who's comfortable with his sexuality, is reacting to him. I didn't mean to have them look like they were flirting with each other.

I heard that June was Pride Month recently and I wanted to draw something appropriate! So I bring you this, my characters Xyclone and Velocity holding up flags to represent their orientations of bisexuality in Vel's case and biromantic asexuality in Xy's.
It's been quite a while since I've drawn Vel, so it was kinda confusing to get his appearance down again. I do plan on drawing him an updated reference sheet here very soon.
Posing the arms for the picture was a lot of trouble, but after some advice from a few friends of mine who know who they are, I was able to get them to look decent. I also tried a new method for coloring in the eyes and I think it worked pretty well, even though they do look a little wonky. I wanted to make them look more expressive, and I think I accomplished that.

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this picture I drew of these two homo dorks.
