Story - A Secret? The Mystery Behind the Gold In the Sand

Summary: Having heard rumors that gold lies in the sand at a beach in West Palm Beach, Izzy, Sprout and Hitch must dig for it to know its secrets.

Izzy, along with Hitch and his childhood friend, Sprout, are in West Palm Beach walking on a beach, with Izzy being in front, and the two stallions walked behind her, meaning that she is being the leader right now.

"My, this beach is like so empty." Izzy said, looking around and sees no humans on the beach, and it was just her, Hitch and Sprout at the beach. "Where did everybody go?"

"They must be doing some other fun activity things while they are outside doing the outdoors." Sprout noticed people elsewhere in West Palm Beach are eating at restaurants, planting seeds and flowers, playing games meant for outdoors, among similar things that go with this.

"I thought everyone would be on the beach today." Hitch replied, as he really expected for multiple people to be visiting the beach today on a hot day like this.

Despite Hitch's opinion, Izzy disagreed, telling him, "That's not always true, for one. Some people can't be at this beach everyday. Not how it goes."

"Hey, I just realized something." Sprout told Hitch and Izzy, knowing this is something important they need to know.

"Yes?" Izzy and Hitch asked Sprout, curious what is very important that Sprout wants to tell them.

"There's gold that lies in the sand on this beach, and secrets are hidden, unless it can be found." Sprout continued his sentence, knowing that treasures like gold are often hidden under the sand so that nobody can find it that easily.

Hitch and Izzy are surprised, hearing this rumor that Sprout. "Wait, you don't mean...?" Izzy asked nervously.

"I'm honest, Izzy. This is for real." Sprout told Izzy the truth about the sand covering the gold completely, and only working together as a team could bring gold back. "When we find it together, we will know what secrets are in the gold the have been hidden from the rest. We must go find dig up for the gold and find the secrets in them.

"Alright, let's do this!" Izzy and Hitch agreed, and they and Sprout started the search for gold around the beach.

The three ponies started looking around the beach to find the gold where the secrets that lie within it are hidden until it can be found.

"Now where could the gold be hiding?" Sprout wondered, as he and Hitch worked with each other and dig for the gold that has been hiding in the beach for many years and yet no one has ever found it since.

"Remember, the gold is under the sand and we don't know anything about it until we find it." Hitch reminded Sprout that the gold is below the sand and only bringing it back is the only way they can know the secrets behind the gold. "Let us work together and search for that gold!"

Izzy was in search for the gold on her own, unless she needs Hitch and Sprout's help anytime soon. "Hmm, where could the gold be hiding?" She wondered, beginning her search for the hidden gold lying in the sand.

Soon Izzy started pulling out what she believed is gold, but it is actually just a seashell, which she found very little luck, although she did want to keep it with her anyway, which is her charm.

Izzy eventually tried pulling something out the sand again, however, when she pulled it out, nothing was found. Hitch and Sprout continued searching for the gold elsewhere, and stayed with each other, and they would call Izzy for help in case they cannot find the gold either.

"We must get that gold, no matter the cost!" Sprout told Hitch, as the gold was the only hope the stallions have in them.

"Hmm, I think I found it." Hitch said, as he thought the gold is down below near him.

"Okay, we shall dig for it, quickly." Sprout helped Hitch dig for the gold that is lying behind the sand as fast as they could. When they finished digging, they actually found the gold.

Hitch, looking excited with sparkles in his eyes, shouted, "Aww, yeah! We have gotten the gold buried in the sand!"

Izzy looked at the gold that Hitch was holding in his hooves, and she ran and catch up with the stallions.

"What are the secrets that this gold is hiding?" Izzy asked Hitch, since he had finally got the gold, it is time they know what the secrets are, as shown on the paper going with it.

When Hitch read the paper, the secret read, "A long time ago, in 1967, a pirate and his crew took his visited this beach where they collected all the treasure they could find. However, this gold that you see now was the one they never could find, and thus, citizens have buried it in this sand for many years."

"Wait, a pirate and his men found all the treasure except for this one gold?" Sprout asked with shock.

"I'm pretty sure there was more gold on this beach back then that the pirate and his crew have found, even though this one that Hitch's holding wasn't found in time before they left West Palm Beach with all the treasure they collected." Izzy told Sprout.

"One thing for sure is that the mystery has been solved and the secrets behind the gold has been revealed." Hitch said, as he was the pony who found the gold and help get the secrets uncovered.

"We should take this into our universe so we can know how much it could be useful for us." Izzy suggested taking the gold into Maretime Bay and learn more about the gold they found.

"Sounds good. Let's go." Sprout said as he, Hitch and Izzy walked away from the beach and keep a hold onto the gold and find a way to see Maretime Bay again.
