Story - Look at How Much You Have Grown, Niece!

Summary: In Manhattan, New York, Applejack accidentally runs into her aunt and uncle (who have just left a concert where Coloratura, Applejack's childhood friend, was performing) and she can't feel less happy over the fact that she would see them again after a long time, wishing she would see them more often.

Aunt and Uncle Orange are walking on the sidewalk, with the latter wearing a tie in this rare case. "My, this place always has been so familiar, sweetie." Uncle Orange told his wife, recognizing the city in the real world much like one in his own world.

"Couldn't have said anything different." Aunt Orange replied, giggling about how much Manhattan and Manehattan are so familiar, yet differences in the two cities from opposite worlds are told. "I mean, we're like noble and live in an apartment, get along with the ponies, including the ones visiting Manehattan."

"I clearly doubt that in mind." Uncle Orange said, understanding how important they are and who they are matters, knowing there are others who care about them, such as Applejack.

And speaking of Applejack, she was, in fact, just walking from the opposite sidewalk, seeing them far away from her view. "Hey, I got a feeling I'm seein' two ponies who look like I have remembered." Applejack said, having her front right hoof above her eyes, seeing Aunt and Uncle Orange in a blurry vision as she kept walking ahead.

"You and I should visit the baseball stadium." Uncle Orange suggested, deciding he and Aunt Orange visit the baseball stadium wherever they feel like going to a stadium.

"Oh, why's that?" Aunt Orange asked Uncle Orange, looking a bit curious about why she and him would want to visit a baseball stadium despite the two never being a sports fan as much as Applejack does.

"Because, you know, so that we can learn about sports and watch a baseball team get the victory against the other team." Uncle Orange shrugged, believing what he is saying would be the specific case, but not one-hundred percent confident on that. "It'd be fun taking Applejack with us whenever she comes."

As the two continued talking with each other, standing still, Applejack was eventually approaching and now on the sidewalk her aunt and uncle are on. "Hey, I'm over here!" She called out, grabbing Aunt Orange and Uncle Orange her attention.

Hearing Applejack's voice just not so far away, the two ponies eventually turned around, and they realized it was finally Applejack showing up behind them.

"I can't believe that's you, niece!" Aunt Orange said in a higher-pitched voice, standing on two hooves and hugged Applejack, recognizing just how much they have grown since the last time the three have met each other back in Equestria.

"You both haven't changed at all!" Applejack laughed, knowing that they are still the same when they saw her as a filly. "Compared with you." Uncle Orange responded back, noticing Applejack and Aunt Orange are about the same height now.

"And what is with the tie you have on?" Applejack asked her uncle, finding it strange that he would be wearing clothes this time around.

"I was wearing this for a concert where Coloratura was performing." Uncle Orange told Applejack, as he needed to be looking handsome for the concert he and Aunt Orange have just left minutes ago.

When she heard her uncle mention her childhood friend, Coloratura, Applejack was shocked, and responded, "Wait just a minute! Rara was performing at that concert?! Man, I clearly wanted to go to the concert so badly! She didn't tell me!"

"I'm afraid the concert has ended already." Aunt Orange reminded Applejack, as everyone left when the concert ended.

"Shoot, I just missed the concert my childhood friend was performing!" Applejack said in frustration, as she couldn't make it in time for the concert even though she has had plans for the concert anyway. "I have these ten dollars in my hoof and I just wasted my whole money on a concert!"

Uncle Orange comforted his niece, put his hoof around Applejack's neck, telling her, "Don't feel so gloomy. You always have a chance for next time. I promise you there's another chance."

"I appreciate you for the advice, uncle." Applejack replied back, turning her brief frustration into happiness again, knowing that she always can see something next time whenever she didn't see it the first time.

"Anyways, me and my husband have had plans taking you with us for a baseball game." Aunt Orange told Applejack, as they would all watch a game together for once.

"Nah, I'm gonna pass on that." Applejack declined.

Uncle Orange whispered into his wife's ear, while Applejack was not looking at them. Finally, Aunt Orange has an idea knowing just Applejack would want best. "Why don't you come with us?" She asked her niece, as she prefers having some fun time with her niece in her apartment.

"Alright! I was hoping you'd say that!" Applejack agreed with her aunt's choice about spending some time with her aunt and uncle in their New York apartment. "Just don't give me any makeovers like last time..."

"Come on, having a makeover is always good for you, niece!" Uncle Orange said as he, Aunt Orange and Applejack started walking again.

"Yeah, I can give you the same mane style like mine!" Aunt Orange jokingly told her niece, which annoyed the latter. "No way! I'm keeping the mane I love and always!" Applejack complained, preferring not to have the same mane style as she did when she stayed with her aunt and uncle in Manehattan as a filly.

"I'm giving you the same mane just like how I did last time!" Aunt Orange happily replied back. "No you won't!" Applejack argued again, with Uncle Orange laughing at this conversation between the two mares while heading to their back apartment, which is about ten minutes away.
