Look at this; look at what Tirek's doing to me. There's barely a punchline on this page. I just ended up wanting to write a villainous monologue!

Tirek: My brother was my partner in the first campaign to conquer Equestria. The plan was ready. We had arcane secrets. We had surprise on our side. I'm certain we would have succeeded. But it must have been on Scorpan's scouting mission... Something about their way of life charmed the sentimental, weak-hearted fool. I should have realized the full extent of his weakness when he came back to me with doubts. I shouted him down. I thought that was enough. So of course he ran back to the alicorn sisters, warned them of our plans. Or rather, plans that were now mine alone. And THAT is how I was captured and imprisoned in Tartarus for a thousand miserable years! Call me "playing hard to get" if you wish, but if I can't trust my own blood brother... Why should I trust the very GOD of trickery?
