That being said it was an important one where my OC decides to protect a bunch of refugees that have been put there as a bait by Ao's(my OC) enemies. However using his power over lightning(being part of the maelstrom when combined with water) he is able to defend them and send his enemies reeling though with no small effort.

This was inspired by the heroic russian tale of the Heart of Danko. There Danko seeking to guide his scared people tears his chest and provides his heart to become a torch to guide them out of danger. The moral of the story being that if we don't burn for others how can we expect them to burn for us?
