Here we have the next kiddo in the Polyherdverse, the son of Mudbriar and Maud and Starlight! Check out the vector of them here to see the relationship they have. :)

As for how Linarite came into this world, well that's a bit complicated. Maud and Mudbriar tried for a long time to have a child naturally, but unfortunately it never worked out. After getting some help from a doctor, it turned out that Maud wasn't able to keep the embryo... so she wouldn't be able to carry a child without some magical help. Since Starlight loves Maud and wanted to make her happy, she insisted on helping... but we know Starlight can go a little overboard with her magic so things didn't go exactly as planned.

Starlight tried to preform the spell that Twilight used to help her friends have children (check this post to see that process), but she put a little extra power behind it to make sure it worked... and ended up getting pregnant with the soul she created. So instead of Maud carrying the child, Starlight did. Some of her DNA also entered the baby too, resulting in Linarite's eyes being the same color as hers. No one really minded as the herd all planned to have a part in raising him anyway.

Facts: Linarite is a very calm and relaxed individual, not easily excitable, but he also has more social graces than his parents. Having Starlight in his life gave him a lot of life lessons as she often shared with him her mistakes and stories about her life, so he learned a lot about making friends and about his own self worth from her. He gets along with lots of kinds of ponies and creatures, being able to fit in with ease. He has a great love for hearing about other's lives, seeing all creatures like he sees rocks, all unique and interesting.
