I'm going to be doing family trees like this for all of my NG bbs. It's just fun to see how my kiddos compare to the rest of their family members, especially grandparents. Up next on the docket are RD and Fluttershy's family (since they're related now!) and Applejack and Rarity (this one is going to be SO much orange and pink)!

Twilight's family is really interesting, and very pink and blue in coloration lol. Here you have seemingly random unicorns ascending suddenly to the highest position in Equestria's social hierarchy. Night Light and Twilight Velvet are the parents of two princesses and a prince, and the same combination of royal grandchildren. Twilight Sparkle was born with a talent for magic, was accepted into Celestia's special unicorn school and became her protégé, and Shining Armor is captain of the Royal Guard now Prince of the Crystal Empire. Cadence is the Princess of Love, who had a daughter that's been described as the only known alicorn to be born, who is now heir to the Crystal Empire. Yet they're all just your average mid-westerner/Canadian family that seem almost too goofy to live.

I don't have too much to say about them besides how much I love Twilight's family. They're just so saccharine and healthy, even compared to our other mane 6 parents. I imagine Trixie, who came from a very, very different homelife, was baffled to be so warmly welcomed by her future family-in-law. She would also go on to realize why Twilight is the biggest doofiest nerd she's met; she's just another member of the Twilight clan.
