I am bad at writing, but here's an attempt.

• Shining armor invites Applejack, a simple farm pony mare friend of Twilight's, down to the beach so he can talk about his feelings tords his and his ex wife Cadence's recent divorce. They walk down the shoreline of the beach, the sun has almost set...-

ShiningArmor: Hey... Glad you could make it Aj.
Applejack: Aww, it's nothin sugar cube, anything for a friend.
ShiningArmor: ... Heh..
Applejack: Looks around It's a nice evening tonight, isn't it?
Shining: Nods
Applejack: Hmm...
Shining: Picks her up
Applejack: ?!? Woah there shining, what are you doing?
Shining: B-Being a gentlecolt.
- Applejack snickers and swipes her hair out her face -
Shining: Blushes What?
Applejack: I ain't no princess! I can walk.
Shining: R-Right, sorry. Set's her down
Applejack: ... So... Cadence...
Shining: We weren't happy together anymore... It seemed too... Rushed... Two friends who took things too quickly.
Applejack: I understand...
Shining: ... I don't know if i'll ever find my forever special somepony...
- Applejack looks at him and gives him a reassuring smile -
Applejack: Yes you will... Just give it time... Who knows... Maybe your special somepony is somewhere right under your nose..
- Applejack stands in front of him, only a little shorter than the blue haired stallion -
Applejack: Nervously laughs
Shining: Is starting to tear up a little Maybe...
Shining: Hands are shaking Y-You know... I was afraid to ask you to come here, out of fear it'd be weird for one of my sisters friends to be hanging out with her brother..
Applejack: Holds both his hands gently by his wrists and looks into his sapphire blue eyes.
- Shining's heart speeds up at the sudden contact -
Applejack: Don't worry... It's okay..
- A large wave splashes at the shoreline, drenching Applejack -
Shining: !!! *Sets his hands on her shoulders A-Are you oka-
- Applejack moves her wet mane from her eyes, and peers at Shining -
Shining: Wow you're beautiful... Even if you're soaked..
Applejack: Blushes and sputters in shock Why thank you! That's really nice of you to say... Wipes Shining's tears

• Shining's tears weren't just normal tears... They were nervous tears, of a nervous unicorn, with a ever deepening appreciation and love for the mare with a knack for farming, and a love of her family -
