Next one up! Everglade's big brother, Safeguard!

Facts: Lost both parents to a bear attack and was adopted by Fluttershy and Thunderlane. Is the older sibling to Everglade. Prefers quiet solitude with a good book to a large crowd and party.
Occupation: Bodyguard for his sister

A little backstory - Pregnancy was very hard on Fluttershy, she almost died during childbirth as well, so they decided that Everglade would be their only child. When they learned that Everglade was blind it assured them that she needed all of their attention. Nothing would have changed their mind until Thunderlane got a letter from his father, telling him about his cousins' unfortunate deaths and that they left their only son in his care. Thunderlane's father offered to keep the foal in his stead and Thunderlane almost took him up on the offer, but after he told Fluttershy about the situation they both agreed the right thing to do was take in Safeguard as their own.

Considering Safeguard had just lost both of his parents to a bear attack, they understood that he was kind of standoffish towards them. That is except for Everglade, she was extremely excited to have a new big brother and she wasn't afraid to show it. But Safeguard took to her very well, getting close to her before anyone else. He actually got his cutie mark protecting her by standing up to a rampaging bear before Fluttershy arrived to calm the animal.
