Dusk is a stone-cold stallion with not much about him to like. He’s rude, blunt, and doesn’t seem to feel much for anything or anyone. This is true, for the most part at least. He does have feelings and he does get hurt when people point it out, he just doesn’t know how to deal with any of the feelings he gets and opts to shove them away. He is an Equestria-renowned detective, as there aren’t many ponies with that sort of talent, and many come to him with cases that they need solving. He’s quite picky with them but if they’re desperate he will generally feel compassion to help them. He gets along with his parents, at least he thinks so, but many people point out he’s rude; his parents know this, though, and aren’t bothered for the most part when he snaps at them.

- His freckles glow when he's embarrassed or flustered; it's odd but hey that's how it be
- He's terrified of butterflies... doesn't know why. He just hates them and if they're near him, his tail is TUCKED and he is OUT
- Despite how he appears, he genuinely wants to fit in, but his overactive mind really doesn't give him time to make friends
