“And this is going to work?” Shining held the speedo in his hand, rubbing his thumb against the smooth, black fabric. Cadence stepped behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist. The two stood there, alone in a combination shower/locker room.

“It’ll work, Shiny.” She kissed his cheek, making the stallion blush a little. “Nopony will know about your little secret.” Shining took Cadence’s hand and held it close to his chest.

“Thank you, honey.”

“Anything for my sexy stallion.” Cadence grabbed a towel and strode towards the exit. “I’ll see you outside, ‘kay?” Shining nodded as his wife stepped outside. The lone stallion shifted his attention back to the speedo, his fists gripped the fabric tighter.

After taking a deep breath, Shining stripped naked and slipped on the swimwear. With his crotch secure, Shining tilted his head down to see how it looked. No magic, just the illusion of color. Pure black, so no definitive lines can be seen from a distance. A smile grew on his face as he felt his confidence steadily return.

Even as the hot, summer sun beat down on his fur, Shining kept his head up and walked towards the pool. He wasn’t going to let anything bring down his vacation. With the Applewood beaches right next to their private villa and Las Pegasus being one balloon ride away, Shining was going to make the most of the upcoming week. Cadence took a small step into the pool as she turned to look at him. With a small wave, the alicorn dipped herself further into the cool water.

Shining looked over and saw where Cadence had placed her towel. Next to it was Celestia, in the midst of sunbathing and reading, and Luna, playing video games as usual. Still feeling confident, Shining made his way over to the princesses to set down his towel. Luna looked up from her game for a brief moment to smile at the stallion.

“Hey, Shining.” Her gaze turned back to her game. “Glad you could join us.”

“Sorry for the delay,” Shining tossed his towel down onto a bench next to Cadence’s, “I’m not used to wearing revealing clothing like this.” Luna looked up again, though her gaze remained a bit longer on Shining’s body.

“Whoa, nice ass.”

“Luna!” Celestia snapped, her attention now on her sister. “That’s not appropriate.”

“Oh, lighten up, sister.” Luna looked back at her game. “Shining’s a catch with a great body. Cadence is a lucky mare.” The pink alicorn swam up to the side of pool, looking over at the three ponies.

“What’s that?” Cadence rested her arms on the edge of the pool.

“Luna’s just ogling your husband.” Celestia said. “Knowing full well he’s married.”

“It’s not like I was planning on sleeping with him…” Luna kept her gaze on the game.

“It’s fine, Celestia.” Cadence pushed away from the edge. “We’re all adults and we’re on vacation. Loosen up a bit.”

“And it’s not like looking is all that bad.” Shining flexed his arms a bit, making Luna’s eyes drift up from her screen. “Think I should jump in the pool?” Shining asked, still showing off his body. Luna steadily nodded with a sultry smile. Cadence, hearing this, quickly swam back to the edge.

“Wait, Shining!” Shining took a couple steps back before running towards the pool. The stallion jumped up, tucked in his legs, and hit the water with loud splash. Luna quickly conjured a shield to cover her and Celestia from the small deluge Shining had created. Once the water settled, Cadence quickly looked around, trying to see where her husband was. In all the wet chaos, Shining had swum back to the edge and was now pulling himself out.

“Shining, wait! Your speedo!”

“What about it?” Shining stepped up and proudly presented himself to the two sisters.

“It… fell off…” Luna’s attention was now focused solely on Shining’s crotch.

“Oh my…” Celestia closed her book to get a better look at the pony’s secret. Shining’s confidence quickly faded as his gaze steadily looked at what everypony else was seeing: his below average stallionhood. Luna covered her mouth, stifling her laugh as best she could. Celestia, in contrast, openly giggled at the situation. Borderline laughed. Cadence, worried about her husband, quickly grabbed the wet speedo and flew out of the pool.

“Here, let’s get this back on and…” Shining placed a hand on her shoulder and looked her in the eyes.

“No. It’s fine.” He looked back at the princesses, stepping forward. “Laugh all you want, but I’m on vacation and I’m going to have fun.” He wrapped his arm around Cadence’s hip and pulled her closer, making the alicorn bluster a bit. “All that matters is that I love my wife and she loves me.” Cadence cuddled up closer to Shining after hearing him say that. Her wings fluttered a bit as she rested her head on his shoulder.

“You still have to admit it’s rather humorous.” Luna turned off her console and sat it down. “The captain of our royal armed forces apparently doesn’t have the stallionhood to match.”

“Quite the ironic situation.” Celestia continued to look Shining up and down. “Though, in all fairness Luna, our breasts aren’t much to look at, either. So can we really be so quick to judge?”

“I suppose you’re right. Our great captain does have other wonderful qualities to make up for… what he lacks.”

“Like his ass?

“Oh, definitely his ass.” Luna turned onto her side, resting her arms. “I always hate to see him go… but love to watch him leave.”

“If we’re going to be honest,” Celestia pulled herself up and sat down to face the other ponies, “I’m pretty fond of his muscles.” Cadence rubbed Shining’s arm, seeing his confidence come back a bit. “His hugs are the best, always so warm and tight.”

“I love it when he sneaks up on me with a big, bear hug.” Cadence cuddles Shining tighter. “It’s even better when we’re waking up.”

“Speaking of the bedroom… what’s it like?” Luna chuckled a bit.

“He’s really, really good with his mouth.” Cadence gave Shining’s face a small squeeze. “And he gives the best massage you could ask for.”

“She does tend to melt in my arms when I start rubbing her back.” His hand gently rubbed her back, making the alicorn shiver in excitement. “And I’m glad to see my time at the gym hasn’t gone to waste.” He gave his arm a small flex and winked at Cadence.

“Though the ego can use some work.” Cadence smiled as she grabbed his dick. “This may not be a big deal, but you’d think it’d make him humbler.” All the mares began giggling louder than before, making the stallion turn his head away in embarrassment. Though Cadence quickly tightened her grip around Shining, pulling him close. “But I didn’t fall in love with his muscles or his penis. I fell in love with him.”

“And I love you, too.” Shining pressed his lips against Cadence’s, wrapping his arms around her fully. Cadence buried her muzzle into his neck and returned the hug. With a soft, little moan, Cadence tossed the speedo aside. “I can’t take it anymore.”

“What?” Cadence squealed as Shining lifted her up and rested her on his shoulder. The stallion spun around and started walking back towards the villa.

“We’ll be back in a bit. I just need to… give Cadence a massage.” With that, Shining stepped into the locker room with Cadence, leaving Celestia and Luna alone on the terrace once more.
