The two didn’t sleep well that night. In Sonata’s case because she was also hungry, and Octavia’s since she chose to sleep on couch rather than their bed. Add on the fight that caused the two to choose these option rather than have to face each other, and I meant for a long sleepless night.

Sonata: “Oh, Octavia, you beautiful idiot.” Sonata sighed. No wait, she was supposed to be angry! How dare that **** pull the <span class="caps">ADHD</span> card on her?! So why did it feel like she was the one who had to apologize? Then again, she was just a stupid mare who couldn’t make her own judgment according to Adagio. Maybe Octavia was better off in Trottingham,away from her.

Octavia meanwhile, felt worse. In her heart, she knew she was more to blame. At the same time, was it really fair that Sonata would so quick to tell her no to such an opportunity? Sure, it meant sucking her abusive mother’s **** but…

She shook her head, looking around, their, home. The long fought battle they had to go through to be where their were today in getting away from their toxic familys. But that was a memory for another day/Jade picture (😇).

Octavia: “I need to piss.” She stood up and strode to the bathroom, only to find to occupied once she got there. Before she could consider walking away, the door opened.

Sonata: “oh, hello.”

Octavia: “hi” looks down “sleep well?”

Sonata: “terrible. Stupid <span class="caps">ADHD</span> brain and all.”

Octavia: “yes, well, I figured being accepted into a university would make you as sleepless.”

Sonata cringed and stood aside.“Well there you go.”

Octavia: “I… thanks.”

Sonata: “Sure.”

Octavia stomped her hoof. “No, no don’t do that!” A tear feel down her face. “No, no, no! Okay, I was the idiot, not you. It’s not wonder you got into Canterlot university while I needed my stupid parents to get me into any.”

Sonata: “is… is that what this is about?”

Octavia looked to the floor.

Sonata: “Hey, I meant it. Well I was talking out of anger, but I meant it when I said best wishes for you if you chose Trottingham.”

Octavia stood still for a moment, fidgeting. “Well, what is your, judgment.” She looked up to Sonata. “No really, I want your honest opinion.”

Sonata took in a short breath, needing a second to realize Octavia was being sincere and not mocking. “Well… I say you take you mothers offer shove it up her ***. That, er, we take Ponyville community for the first year together, but maybe I could also take some part time classes at Canterlot over the weekend?” She rubbed at her neck. “I know, sounds stupid.”

Octavia chuckled. “Sonata Dusk, I think that is an excellent idea.”

Sonata sniffled. “For… for realizes?”

Octavia:” Well, maybe we shouldn’t so literally shove something up my mothers…” Sonata laughs “But, you’d really be okay with not going to CU full time? I really wouldn’t want to hold you back.”

Tearing up, Sonata took Octavia hoof. “Never. You’re the reason I am where I am now. I can’t ever thank you enough.”

Octavia cried for a moment, the two holding hooves, before bringing it in and babbling off apology after apology for serval minutes before the two were spent.

“Well, um,” Sonata said once she pulled back with a yawn. “Maybe now we can get some sleep? In, our, bed. I’d hate to think you spent all night in the coach because you thought I was rejecting you.”

Octavia: “yes, well.” She danced a little. “I first have some business to attend to.” 🚽

Sonatas stomach rumbled. “Hehe, guess I could go for a midnight snack as well.”

With a roll of her eyes, Octavia kissed Sonata on the cheek. “I’ll see you in a bit.” She said in a low, lustful tone and a wink.

Sonata face heated up. “Ye… Yeah.” Blushing madly, the two went off to their targeted destinations.

In the end though, they really didn’t get much sleep that night after all. They were too busy ‘apologizing’/making it up to the the other, by the time they passed out, the sun rose not an hour later….
