Revelations, part 2: A curse upon our house.

Mivera’s tale continued. Digging into the ancestry that has led to the curse that haunted this family.

Of The adventurous, yet competitive spirit that drove her ancestors to constantly try and one up each other. to proove each other worthy of the family name. This adventorus arms race that eventually led the family to tire of conventional tresure hunting, and started to dig deeper darker places.

“They brought their findings home with them, to translate and study. And what they found was magic, ancient beyond recording. The poor devils must have thought it the first spells of ponykind. Perhaps the very origin of magic as we know it. Not until much later would we learn that it was not even of this earth, but from beyond the stars.

“In a world where magic is plentyfull they though no more of it, and tried to recreate it”.

“They succseeded.”

“I know my ancestors harbored no ill intent, they were only seeking to recover ancient history. And we were never believers of the idea that some things lay forgotten, for any reason…”

“Im sure my mother, my NecroMomicon, told you about the children of Nuguth, called the Tatzl pony. But that is but one of the misinterpretations of the aftermath. ‘For they who has become a mouth of Nuguth will only spawn more mouths of Nuguth.’ But we are not born as tentacle tongue monsters. Tatzl spawn is another pact entierly. In fact, All of our family members were born as normal ponies to pony parents. No one suspected anything at first.”

Also – these aren’t Miveras parents. they would have to be at least her Great grandparents. This shit goes back generations.
