I did do a scene of Moondancer meeting Scorpan and I wanted to draw their process to now, but my god I couldn’t help myself to draw a hybrid child.

Short synopsis

Moondancer was once a teacher in Twilight’s school of friendship, it was well more than what she thought from being one of Twilight’s many friends to being head of the magic department in the school of friendship, but her old habit of comparing herself to Twilight never really left, after talking to Twilight on her apathy towards her responsibilities, Twilight allow her to leave and she took off on her own small adventure and encountered Scorpan halfway through the unknown lands.Moondancer certainly wasn’t incapable of love, yet when she started having feelings for Scorpan she started showing how powerful her magic was, and how she knew a lot more than she should’ve of. It was an admittingly awkward representation of what to do when you have a crush for the first time, especially to someone who met Starswirl the bearded and the two princesses. Scorpan, on the other hand, doubted that Moondancer actually liked him, in his defense telling others his brother his Tirek is not going to give the best first impression.

Years later after adventuring for a while and finally being in a relationship with Scorpan they had their daughter Nemea. They went back to Equestria to take care of her in a more familiar environment and Moondancer went back to teaching in the school of friendship. Nemea.. oh boy, she is child who runs on pure solar energy. She was born during her parent’s travel and for at least the first two years of her life she was exposed to being in different environments and vast varieties of ponies and creatures which allowed her excitement to see something new to never cease.

She’s confident and is certainly proud of her parentage, though she’s a kind child she took some ‘tendencies’ of her uncle Tirek in wanting to scare ponies as she finds it amusing, as well as (rarely) liking and using the flaws of ponies to her advantage if needed. As seen Nemea also possesses a horn of which she can use magic as a result Moondancer put her in the school of friendship; however, Nemea learns to wield it but tends to not use it as Moondancer wants her to, she doesn’t need magic if she has hands.

Nemea is certainly a ‘daddy’s little girl’ despite her concerning chaotic-ness. I made her look a lion cub with all the spots that she’s going to grow out of. I also drew her a small little backpack that she always carries with, what she puts is what she calls her collection of ‘little buzzing things’ which are…dead insects.
