Nickname/s: Sid, Siddy, Cider.

Birth/residence: Born and currently lives in Ponyville.

Personality/Background:

Twin brother of Apple Lust.

Apple Cider is the vivid image of his grandmother Pear Butter; affectionate, simple, very friendly and attentive to the other ponies.

He has a very positive way of seeing life, is quite optimistic and always looks for a good side to things. It may be the most horrible day for him, but that does not take away the fact of always being happy and sharing that happiness. He infects it, somehow. His sisters describe him as the “perfect” unicorn, because those of that species do not tend to be so happy and always try to preserve their sophisticated and high society.

Sid is the only one of the Apple who has an unusual outlook for his family, a very hyperactive imagination and a touch of delicacy as Rarity has it. This, plus the enthusiasm and dedication of Applejack that puts when working on the farm, make it the perfect combination.

Relationships:

He loves his family first of all, Applejack for him is his greatest inspiration, after hearing the story of when she sacrificed too much for pushing Sweet Apple Acres at a time when she didn’t count on anyone’s help to harvest the apples, filled him with pride and has been committed every day to be like his mother one day it was.
