May 2018. That was the year I decided after the introduction of the Hippogriffs (thanks in part to the <span class="caps">MLP</span> movie back in 2017 and Silverstream’s show debut months later), that I so wanted to make a Hippogriff O/FC. I welcome Valour Flame to my herd of O/FCs. His color scheme was different at the time and my plans for him weren’t too exact, but I did thought of him as my adorable little big dork.

January 2019. Months later I decided to give Val a color change thanks in part to my liking of the Miami Vice coloring my hometown <span class="caps">NBA</span> & <span class="caps">MLB</span> team were doing. The colors stuck around surprisingly and I was getting use to doing Val more and more.

1. I didn’t do Val much due to what was going on in the world, and the last one I did of him was a <span class="caps">NMN</span> theme pic along with Sunfyre, Genette & Speckledust. It was around the time I was beginning to draft up a plan for my Hippogriff O/FC, one I like to do at some point thanks in part to a comic I saw on Derpibooru that someone did involving they’re interpretation of the fall of Hippogriffia. Let’s just say it was…informative, eye-opening, and kept me glue to my seat. It gave me an idea for how I wish to portray Valour going forward origin-wise.

2. A lot of uncertainty was on my mind, but I did do my best to make some art when I can. One of the things I wanted to do was to do Valour Flame again. I also wanted to try out a wing style drawing that would fit my own artstyle, so I drew some inspiration from a couple of other artists. It’ll be a bit of a work for me to get down. I have no complaints on this, and I hope to draw more of Val in the coming future.
