Epic Rhyme has always been an outgoing filly, being rough and brash where others are more subdued. This often led to her poking her nose in other ponies’ business. This time, however, she ends up meeting a new friend.

Serenade has always been a quiet colt, feeling self-conscious due to his birthmarks. As such, he grew his mane out to make it easier to hide them, but this also led to being bullied by other colts.

When the two met, it was in a hail of flying hooves and loud shouts but it was a lasting friendship that both hold dear in their hearts.
