At the end of the dramatic aria duet, Shining Armor turns to the camera with a look that can only be described as “horrifyingly goofy,” while in the split-screen shot, the camera zooms out on Cadance until she is a speck while she wails her last measure about how her fiance will be lost to her forever.

That’s a literal description; that’s a thing that happens in this show.

Anyway, we’ve got another Spudventure up today! It’s actually the season finale of The Forgotten Ones as our D&D campaign goes on hiatus (and a new thing to-be-determined will take its place in two weeks!).

DM: The rest of the party returns to the wedding hall to prepare for the momentous occasion. As for Twilight and Cadance… Well, navigating an empty cave isn’t all that interesting – and I’d like to move things along – so how do you think you two fare generally?

Princess Cadance: Cadance probably isn’t faring well or doing all that much to help.

Twilight Sparkle: I can totally understand that.

Princess Cadance: Physically, she’s weak and drained. Emotionally, she’s all over the place. All she can really manage to do is glide across gaps with her alicorn wings.

Twilight Sparkle: Well, that’s… something important I can’t do, so don’t count yourself out yet.

DM: How about Twilight?

Twilight Sparkle: Honestly? Feeling good. Twilight is [*motivated.*] She was right all along. The plan worked. She found the real Princess. We’re on our way back to defeat the fake… Plus, the thought of the fake Cadance gloating all the way to the altar is really getting me– I mean her fired up.

Princess Cadance: Whereas for the real Cadance, that thought is her waking nightmare.

DM: So we’ll say that you’re both motivated enough to hurry up to the surface as soon as possible. You run into your share of dead-ends, but before long you can faintly hear the trumpets and the organ playing through the ceiling.

Princess Cadance: We’re so close, but the wedding’s getting started…!

Shining Armor: And by this point, I am, like, completely hypnotized, right?

DM: Well, no one else knows that, but yes.

Princess Cadance: I am NOT going to let her steal my husband, my happiness, and my special day!

Twilight Sparkle: Not to mention my brother, and then all of Equestria… Wow, she’s really going for Public Enemy Number One, huh?

DM: Quite a feat, considering Discord is still at large.
