Description:
Here are my Fallout Equestria OCs, set to be in a fan story to be released in winter of this year.
Characters (Going clockwise):
Arcturus Aquila (Green griffon)
Like his father, Cassius, Arcturus was born in the settlement of Faust’s Point, built near Stable 176. A free spirit with a sense of justice, he made it his calling to become a freelance bounty hunter, delivering justice without settlement influence. At one point, a personal tragedy scarred his mind, affecting his life. Though he tries to continue with his work, nightmares of the incident still haunt him, averting him from forming the closest of bonds.
Glacierwing (Sky blue pegasus)
Born into the Snow Fang tribe in the frozen Mount Hoofton territory, Glacierwing was a proud tracker. Like his kin, he has well developed senses to aid in hunting and survival in the harsh environment of the mountainous terrain. Unique to his tribe, they have the ability of to communicate with the spirits of the dead as a result of the mountain’s ambient magical properties. He’s idealistic and always yearns to view the world outside the one he grew up in.
Dr. Sprocket (Green unicorn/ghoul)
Dr. Sprocket was well-regarded scientist, graduated from the Detrot Technology Institute. Due to his acumen, he was recruited by his peers to participate in ‘Project Einherjar’, commissioned by jointly the Ministries of Awesome, Wartime Technology, and Arcane Sciences, for the purpose of domestic defense. As time went on, the project’s potential ramifications horrified him to the point where he decided to quit. It was too late as when he made that decision, the balefire bombs fell, scorching the world and killing his wife and son. In a twist of fate, he did not die and was instead transformed into a ghoul. Overtime, he viewed it as a punishment and making sure Project Einherjar remained buried, his penance.
Alia Windshear (Purple/brown griffon)
A former raider, Alia had been considered a typical raider, enjoying a care free life of picking fights and engaging in all sorts of vices. When she witnessed her boss, Brutus, do something even she found to be ‘repulsive’ by her standards, she confronted him about it. Nopony knew specifically what happened but the result was Brutus’ death and Alia forever being a target by her old gang, the Steelhoof Mafia. She was since relegated to the life of a mercenary, taking whatever jobs she could find to make a living, forever a nomad.
Thunderstruck (Blue earth pony)
Out of all the ponies in the wasteland who specialize in explosives, Thunderstruck treats it like an art form. The last surviving member of the Silver Spurs, Thunderstruck has made it his mission by reclaiming their old headquarters from the Order of Surtur. Despite a perceived lack of intelligence, his knowledge in all things that explode is unprecedented. He can be precise or make a spectacle, depending on what any given situation requires.
Hakeev (Zebra)
Hakeev, like many in his tribe, took pride in his ancestors traditions and values. He dedicated himself to the defense and wellbeing of his kin. However, when he saw his elders leading the tribe down a path of ruin, his protests would cause him to be banished. Seeing it as a betrayal, he chose to adapt to his new life while training himself to be stronger. His goal: return to his tribe, dethrone the elders, and save those who he held dear from an ineffective leadership. Through his journey, his combat prowess only grew.
Gale Springbreeze (Vanilla-colored unicorn)
Haling from the settlement of Ironvale, Gale never cared for authority after being with her abusive parents. When her father’s alcoholism and murder of her mother caused her departure, she made it a point to never let others get away with such things. The memories of it would lead to her hunting down all who are guilty of similar crimes. Her approach is action now, talk later and her aptitude of infiltration makes her effective at an ambush.
Cassius Aquila (Blue griffon)
Like his grandfather before him, Cassius is the head of security for Faust’s Point (or ‘sheriff’ as he jokingly calls himself). When his wife, Athena, died in childbirth, he managed to balance his duties as the settlement’s protector and a single father. His accuracy with his rifle is enough to make many ponies and creatures alike bat an eye. Though often serious, his welcoming and humorous sides aren’t uncommon fixtures and is known to have his ears to the wasteland, keeping tabs on anything that might impact Faust’s Point.
