Page 1416 – Positate the Negative
13th Aug 2020, 6:00 AMY’all were half-right about how awkward this was going to get. Just maybe not correct on the reason why.
I’m just as surprised as you at how this is turning out! For all my outlines and general plans, I tend to write as I go and let the characters drive in the end.
Transcript:
DM: Twilight Sparkle arrives at the quarters – more like the private home – of Canterlot’s Captain of the Guard. The guards posted at the door let you approach and knock.</sigh>
Shining Armor: Shining Armor stops polishing his favorite uncle’s crest to answer the door. “Heya, Twily! Come on in!“
Twilight Sparkle: …I don’t know how I feel about being called “Twily.“
Shining Armor: Ah, gotcha. No worries. “Sooooooooo…? What do you think?“
Twilight Sparkle:<sigh> Honestly, she’s great… Nono, wait!! I mean bad! Very bad! <strong>EVIL!</strong><br/>
Princess Cadance: Hmhmhm! Awww, thank you.<br/>
Shining Armor: Shining was, ah, talking about the crest. I appreciate the compliment, but do you wanna maybe take that again? In-character this time?<br/>
Twilight Sparkle: Y-Yeah, I’ll take a mulligan.<br/>
