These five characters are all disguised changelings from the story Unchanging Love They are the only changelings living in Hoofington at the time of the story, which is just before and just after the Canterlot Wedding of Shining Armor and Princess Cadance.

From left to right, they are:

1. Rose Petal (f), real name Vexor (m), a friend of Firefly

2. Long Scroll (m), real name Skitter (f), the unofficial leader of the group. Skitter is a more experienced changeling, and enjoys tea.

3. Sweet Leaf, real name Firefly, the protagonist of this story. She works with her husband Fine Roast at the Sweet Roast Cafe.

4. Bobby Pin, real name Spindle, Sweet Leaf’s/Firefly’s best friend, but also a newbie. Has trouble with some basic changeling protocols, and gets nervous easily.

5. Warm Plate, real name Tarsus, Tarsus’s second disguise after his first cover was blown.

6. Vibrant Brush, Tarsus’s first disguise. Tarsus is cocky, hates pony things, and doesn’t really care about color theory or what his disguise looks like, so he comes up with uninspired disguise colors. When his first disguise (Vibrant Brush) was discovered, a changeling cleanup crew had to come in and make him and his love partner “disappear”, after which he started a new life as Warm Plate with somepony else.
