Pear Butter and Bright Mac were always meant to be. Even as young teens they both felt the pull, though Pear Butter tried to ignore it the best she could because it was expected of her. She always thought Bright Mac was one one fine pony but assumed it was never going to happen.
The huge stallion eventually broke through her raised barriers and they hit it off like butterflies in spring. They didn’t care what anypony thought and it was just them in the world. They quickly got married and soon after they had three wonderful children - Big Macintosh, Applejack and Applebloom.
Did I mention that I love the Apple fam?? I was happy they finally revealed Applejack’s parents. I did tweak the colors a bit (Bright Mac looking like a male Applebloom was kind of ‘meh’). I made Pear Butter have a more sandy, farm girl color scheme. They had three kids that they loved very, very much and would have had many more if they didn’t meet an untimely end. Their children were heartbroken, especially Big Mac. Their deaths took his voice away. Sadly, Applejack and Big Mac’s kids never would meet their grandparents. Applejack did her darnedest to make sure her kids knew everything about them. She sees both Bright Mac and Pear Butter in Morning Harvest, her oldest son. Her parents shaped the way she is and she is forever thankful for getting to know them before the end.
I wanted to explore the families of the mane six because grandparents are important to grand kids a lot of the time! Luckily Applejack and Fluttershy’s kids have the latter’s parents to spoil them rotten. I might do Flutter’s parents next, or Rainbow Dash's.
Ms. Butter toooootally loved her husband’s nice flanks, ngl. She loved nothing more than to curl up and snuggle against him as she listened to his heartbeat. Bright Mac was pretty tall, almost taller than Celestia. Pear Butter is taller than the average mare. Here she is pregnant with her first child c: I'm gonna try posting more art this week (hopefully) because I got a new job and I'm not sure on my schedule yet.
