(1) Genie Rainbow: What I meant by Genie Twilight’s story having a beginning similar to mine is that my universe’s Twilight got to go to Saddle Arabia with her Spike too. I remember Twilight telling me and my universe’s Pinkie, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rarity she couldn’t take any of us with her too, which I’m sure must of happened in Genie Twi’s story too.

Genie Twilight: I can confirm that.

(2) Genie Rainbow: I suppose the differences start at when my universe’s Twilight were just starting to travel there via the Hot Air Balloon. I decided to fly up and accompany her anyway where in Genie Twi’s universe I didn’t go. I just didn’t think it was right for not at least one of us to go… Not that I thought Spike wasn’t enough company or anything, just… you know…

(4) …anyway, she was surprised I went out of my way to catch up. But she allowed me to come with anyway, warning me though that what she plans on doing may end up boring me to death. And to be fair, she was pretty right for the most part. Despite my initial insistence to go, I started to regret deciding to go. But by that time we were almost in Saddle Arabia.

So at that moment I may as well of grinned and beared it, because as much as it might of been boring in the city for me it would of been even more so to fly solo all the way back to Ponyville. So for the first day I was dealing with her marveling at the sights and the Saddle Arabian literature she wanted to read most.

The highest amount of amusement I had the first day, was just playing so many rounds of tic-tac-toe with Spike using the sand on the ground to pass the time…

(5) But then the next morning, in verbatim with Genie Twi’s story, my Twilight woke up and went to trot out to town for a bit. I awoke not too long before she was about to leave and decided to follow her. Cause being out there would at least have something potentially interesting rather then just sitting in the hotel room. I was desperate for something. Things weren’t looking promising even as we got to when Twilight met Malakhar.

I was invited along with Twilight to the inside of Malakhar’s hut, though Malakhar was clearly more interested in talking with Twilight. I sort of stared into space even as Malakhar got to talking with Twilight about this bottle he claimed would increase her powers. I did think he was trying to scam us with something, but then he said it was completely free of charge. Still he seemed pretty shady from that point on to me.

(6) It was only when it was getting to the moment where Twilight was going to open the bottle did I really pay attention. As I remember Twilight being very skeptical, but at the same time I could tell her curiosity had been peaked, I also noticed Malakhar had this oddly eager smile about this. Which got me suspicious that opening the bottle wasn’t going to end well. Like maybe it’d release a gas that would knock out both me and Twilight or worse! It didn’t help matters that the door had been closed and I caught in the corner of my eye one gas mask that would only fit the big stallion’s face.

As it turns out that was just an antique that he had by pure coincidence. But I couldn’t know that at that split-second!

(7) So when it looked like Twilight was going to go ahead with it. I quickly flared my wings and leapt as far as I could to try to push twilight to prevent her from opening it. However when I bumped into her, Twilight’s magic phased out as the bottle fell and hit me, the force of my tackle caused the top to come off! I freaked out at first thinking I had released the gas anyway, but nothing really poured out, and Malakhar wasn’t running for the gas mask or anything.

He was either confused if the genification had worked, or he wasn’t sure which one of us actually opened it in the scuffle.

(8) It became obvious that I had opened it though when my tail started to move on it’s own weirdly and started to extend itself into the bottle. It definitely has to be one of the freakiest experiences I ever had!

(9) I tried to flap my wings as hard as I could against the bottle’s suction, but it didn’t work. Twilight realizing what was happening tried to help by using her magic to try to keep myself from getting completely sucked in.

But despite both my attempts at flying out and Twilight putting all the magic power she could muster to slowing my descent into the bottle. There was no stopping me from being completely bottled inside.
