Blazing Ember (the white one, aka Celestia and Luna’s mom)

and

Lunar Shadow (the blue one, aka Celestia and Luna’s dad)

Lunar Shadow (or as Blazing Ember called him, Louie) was the crown prince of Vana. He was destined to be the king. He was rising to the throne while tensions furthered between them and the draquonecii. It was not a good time to have to make all the important decisions. He had a soft heart and a tender mind, but the decisive and keen Blazing Ember helped steer him in the right direction.

Blazing Ember (or as Louie called her, Emmie) was the daughter of a royal guard. She wasn’t very promintent in society, but when she caught Louie’s eye, he was never the same. Later she became a guard just like her family before her and rose through the ranks to become Louie’s own personal guard.

Shenanigans ensue.

Years later, their two foals are born and their lives are never more complete.

Then the Fall of Vana comes to fruition and their lives are over before they barely got to live them.

These are our headcanons for Celestia and Luna’s Parents. We didn’t want to over “GOD” them, so we did a bit of studying over Celestia and Luna’s looks and this is the product.

Usually when the princesses parents are drawn they are drawn like deities, but we wanted them to look more like Celestia and Luna as they are the same species of “horse.” (No offense to ANY designs of Celestia and Luna’s parents, this is just our opinion and we don’t wanna bash anyone else’s.)
