Description:
Love SongSon of Cadence and Shining Armor. Polite and generally well-behaved, Love Song is Cadence’s totally not biased favorite peace and joy. As of such, Love Song sometimes feel pressured to keep up this image of him being “perfect” and tries his best to please others. He’s a bit obsessive about his image and spends a lot of time grooming himself, trying to make himself look nice for the ladies. Of course, he’s much too awkward to actually try talking to the ladies, but nonetheless, he fancies himself a regular Casanova.
Has his own small group of friends back at the Empire. They’re all nerds and he thinks they’re great. They are.
Gets a new crush about every month. His friends make bets on who it’s going to be each month.
Thanks to his mom, Love Song has huge freaking wings and he is intensely proud of them. However, he is also intensely scared he’ll wreck them if he flies, so at the moment he still doesn’t know how to fly.
He does admire Serenade and wishes he could be more confident like her, which is probably why he lets her push him around.
Serenade
Daughter of Cadence and Shining Armor and full of sass, Serenade doesn’t get along with pretty much all the females in her family. That includes her brother because he’s such a wimpy priss he might as well be a girl. Serenade dreams of the day she will finally be old enough to leave and go on adventures, and not be stuck in a stuffy old castle with studying boring old books.
Gets along okay with her peers, though she prefers the company of adults and hangs out around the guard a lot. A crotchety old guard has grown fond of her and her attitude and has practically adopted her as his own.
She has problems focusing on tasks, especially if they involve school, which is why her grades aren’t the best. This, along with her difficult attitude, is the source of her strained relationship with her mom.
Picks on Love Song a lot, but deep, deep, really super deep down she wants the best for him. Her idea of ‘the best’ might differ from his but it’s the thought that counts.
Enjoys sports and likes to think she’ll join the guard when she grows up.
