A more updated version of our old Rarity/Sweetie Belle family.

A lot of this will be explained soon, but for now, I’m gonna introduce characters, starting from top to bottom, left to right:

TOP ROW:

Gabby Species: Griffon Bio: Peppy, excitable, and vigorous Occupation: Mail-Griffon for Equestrian Government Relationships: Gabby loved Sweetie Belle the moment she met her, but was in DEEP denial about her self worth at the time and it took a while to finally accept it. Slowly, she began to be a bigger part of Sweetie’s life. Sweetie Belle went on tour a lot when she was still pretty young (early 20’s) and Gabby tried to show up to every show. Sweetie really fell for the endearing mail-griffon and they started a little family, Sweetie taking some time off from tours to be with her loved one. Gabby really admires Sweetie’s hard-working attitude and dedication to anything she loves. Gabby is mother to Feather Belle, the one in the middle on the bottom row. Gabby does her best to be there for Feather Belle and is definitely feels she is closer to their daughter than Sweetie is. Gabby is the one who stayed up with Fay (Feathered Belle’s nickname) when she got bullied at school and taught her how to deal with them, as Gabby had been bullied herself cause she was not like the rest of the griffons. Gabby wants them to be closer.

Spike Species: Dragon Bio: Tends to be a jokester, intimidating, and loveable Occupation: Royal Advisor to Princess Twilight Relationships: After years of growing (he is Twilight’s age, dragon’s just grow in size at a different rate) he fially caught up to his childhood crush and married her, having a foal soon after. Spike’s love for Rarity never staggered over the years and he couldn’t quite figure out why. He later discovered (through Ember) it was because dragon’s mate for life. He admires Rarity’s drive and ambition and ability to take risks for her and her business. She is bold and strong and beautiful while doing all of it. Iridescence, or Ira, (the one on the left on the bottom row) was a rambunctious little tyke they had and she is a tough lil cookie, Spike being the only one that could wrangle her. It took many years for Spike to finally figure out dragon babies are indestructable and will not break if you drop them… He’s very much closer with his two babies than Rarity is.

Rarity Species: Pony Bio: Driven, bold, and elegant Occupation: Fashion Designer Relationships: Rarity loved Spikey Wikey as a little brother since she met him. She thought he was the cutest thing since sliced bread. But when he his his growth year after he got his wings, he started looking like more than a brother to Rarity. She saw him for what he was, a caring dragon with a heart that held more than many ponies could dream of. He loved more deeply than anyone she had ever met. She fell for him and didn’t hesitate when he asked her out. He taught her to love more deeply and was a part of that love with her. Rarity had a tough relationship witn Iridescence. Ira was rambunctious and never held still when Rarity would try to put clothes on her or bathe her. When she got older, that only got worse. Her relationship with Ira is strained, but she loves her and Ira’s little sister just the same and hopes the best for them… even if the best is lava baths and playing around in mud for hours… ugh

Terramar Species: Hippogriff Bio: Timid, composed, and introverted Occupation: Zoologist (studies animals) Relationships: I bet you’re wondering… how the hell does Terramar fit into this!? Well, that right there next to him (the child on his left) is his child that Sweetie Belle left him with and ran off to go on tour. Sweetie never kept in touch and never wrote or sent money. Terramar understood. Or at least he tried to. He knew she was busy and soon she had her own family to look after as well. It alarmed Terra one day, though, when he got a letter from Rarity, Sweetie’s older sister, inviting him to a family reunion. He went, only to discover that Sweetie wasn’t there. But her wife and kid were. Rarity took him and and cared for him and his daughter Snowflake and accepted him into the family, making Sweetie (but not Gabby) very uncomfortable. Terra has no end to his love for his baby Snowflake. They had her early in their lives, but even so he would have stopped the world for her. He raised her to respect all creatures and all of nature and to thank the world for the land they lived in. He loved Snowflake and no matter how many times he fell down while taking care of a foal so young, he got right back up and fought… for her.

BOTTOM ROW:

Iridescence Species: Dragon/Pony Bio: Tough, emotionally constipated, and fierce Relationships: Ira’s super close with her dad and her sister and loves wrestling with the both of them. Preferably in mud or lava pits they find. Ira knows her mom loves her, but she just doesn’t get why her mom has to control her whole life… all. The. Time.

Feathered Belle Species: Dragon/Pony Bio: Empathetic, kind, and forgiving Relationships: Fay (Feathered Belle’s nickname) loves her Mommy S (Sweetie) a whole lot. She thinks her momma is the coolest thing in the world and that she basically controls the world. Sweetie spoils her with overpriced gifts instead of love sometimes, so Fay expects toys every time she sees her mommy. This is the first sign to Sweetie Belle when she first starts to want to change herself. Fay loves her Mommy G (Gabby), but she sees Mommy G as more nerdy than her Momma Sweetie, so she’s not as attached. She doesn’t mean to offend her Mommy G, but Mommy S is so damn cool. Fay loooooves cousin Snowflake. Snowflake reminds her so much of herself and they enjoy each other’s company immensely. Snowflake’s funny jokes and bold behavious remind Fay of her own Mommy S.

Snowflake Species: Hippogriff/Pony Bio: Ditzy, adventerous, and witty Relationships: Snow knows who her mommy is. She knows her daddy never wanted her to know, but she doesn’t know why. The way Fay talks about their mommy makes her sound SOOOO cool. She wishes she could meet her mommy. It’s okay, she still has her daddy. Snow loves her daddy more than life ITSELF. She wishes she could snuggle in some blankets all day with daddy and just dream their lives away.
