My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic – Taking the Strain.
Created in Inkscape and compiled in Photoshop.
OK, this one is a little different from my previous comics. Up until now I’ve been trying to make my comics “show accurate”. Which largely means trying to make them look as much like they are screen grabs from the original cartoon. Now, I’m going for a more traditional ink and color comic book style. Using line drawings and a little shading.
It’s an experiment more than anything else, and I’m still new at this, so it will take me a while to get it looking right.

Frames 3 and 4 were created in Inkscape.

This comic was inspired by LoCeri’s How to Negotiate. I also used it for a color guide.
The guards were inspired by Faultekaiser’s Canterlot Royal Guards.
