A ship-bebi from AngryLittleBurd and my ship BloodLust, as we call it between his Dr. Sunshine Unit and my Prof. Sanguinem. ‘Cuz why not!? They have another ship bebi too.

A surrogate mother was used to carry the foal, since the both of them are stallions. Putting my headcanon for how MLP genetics work to use, with dominant vs recessive genes, we figured the foal would most likely look more like Unit and his side of the family. Also following the name tradition of have a relation to the sun in the name. Like Sunshine Unit himself and his mother Sun-Prima.

Speaking of Unit’s mother, the two ponies trash-talking the newborn is indeed the “proud” grand parents, Unit’s parents Dr. Dol Unit and Sun-Prima Facie. Not the nicest bunch you’ve ever met. Which does bring some explanation to how Unit turned out.

They ain’t happy with their son not only picking a male partner but also a non-unicorn, destroying their long, proud bloodline of unicorn purity. Facts they’ll happily let Solar Fusion know in plenty, along with putting the blame for his own weak magic on Unit as well, since Unit himself never mastered other spells beyond telekinesis.

Solar Fusion will follow the tradition of Unit’s family of going into the medical field as a career. Focusing on the fascinating world of magic studies and telling ponies why “grow three inches in one week!” is a scam and not how unicorn horns work.

While fiddling with some side studies to figure out how to handle his own horn problem and earn himself some more powerful magic. Such interesting effects it has… so many ponies with more than plenty of magic to spare, really they wouldn’t miss it that much…
