Body/Appearance: Pretty stocky and muscular. He has large wings that are great for flying long distances. Capable of of performing the “puppy dog eyes” to often get what he wants.

Personality: Conway was an excitable and eager-to-please foal, but as he got older, he got increasingly more competitive and arrogant. He wasn’t intentionally a jerk, but he began to get annoying to his friends. Kite’s accident and Magna’s running away both affected him greatly, and he re-assesed his goals in life and decided he’d rather travel than race. Conway has been gone from home for a while and has grown to be more self-dependent, disciplined, and concerned about others, though he still has his competitive nature that surfaces occasionally.

Relationships: Lightning Dust, of course, wanted her baby to be excellent at racing, and because of his strength, he was able to win some races, but it became clear he would not be a speedster. She eventually came to accept this, but still imparted her competitive nature upon him. With the help of Dumbbell, she let him know that they didn’t expect him to continue racing if he didn’t desire to, and now it is more of a hobby. Dumbbell is generally the more relaxed and supportive parent, but he does worry a little about Conway’s chosen career. Kite and Magna were Conway’s two closest friends. He met Magna early on in life due to Rainbow and Lightning’s rivalry (and later, friendship), and he met Kite through Magna. The three used to hang out and adventure all the time, but it grew to be less frequent as they got older. After Kite’s accident, Conway essentially got a reality check. After Magna ran away, Conway lost the desire to race and decided to pursue his main interests. Conway did develop a crush on Magna, which caused him to unintentionally act even more like a jerk to her, which drove her away, which caused him to try even harder to get her to like him. She did like him a little and thougth he was attractive but his personality completely turned her away from him in that way. He thinks about her occasionally now, but doesn’t really have that much of a crush on her anymore.

Talents/Abilities/Cutie Mark: Conway isn’t the fastest flier, but he has a great amount of strength and endurance. From a young age, he had a great sense of direction and enjoyed surveying the vast landscape from up in the air. He greatly enjoyed exploring and adventuring, and eventually started to get interested in maps. He got his cutie mark (a compass rose) after completing the making of his first map.
