A bunch of designs of ponies as dragons I did for fun. I wonder what this could be for though… Think you can take a guess? C:<

You aren’t wrong! You’re probably one of the few who guessed pretty damn close. If ya’ll have watched me back in my machine-gun rapid fire AU days you’d probably guess right; it does have something to do with the Slayer!AU. HOWEVER, there is somethin’ else that spurred me to draw these.

I browsed FimFiction for the first time in years a couple of days ago and came across this absolute gem of a fic: Azure Edge by Leaf Blade

They took the base idea of the Slayer!AU and spun it into one hell of a world of their own, and I binge-read the entirety of it in one sitting; it’s a little like a mix between a fantasy setting mixed with some mystery and their imagination and by goodness it’s fun to read. Like bro, I can’t recommend this fic enough; READ IT! ;w;

NOW THEN. To answer your second question; think of dragons like dogs: there are several breeds of dogs and they come in all sorts of appearances, shapes, sizes, but they’re all still dogs. Same can be said for dragons: there are different breeds and they widely vary in size and appearances but they’re all still dragons.

Trixie may be a different breed of dragon in comparison to the other three, but she’s small even by dragon standards. What she lacks in size she makes up for in vast ego and being loud. x3
