Description:
1) “Ms. Selene! Mum told me of a spell to make me look normal! Can you teach me?”
Pyrinos grew up with almost every pony he’d interacted with scuttling away in fear or nervously giving excuses to leave because of his scary appeaance. He was hidden away from the world, the public only being told he was “sickly and bedridden.” He was tired of it and asked his mother if there was any way he’d ever look normal. Being practiced in the art of disguises so that she may interact with ponies in their dreams more naturally, she admits he may be able to learn a glamour spell to make him appear more as a normal unicorn, but it’s very advanced and he won’t be powerful enough to cast it until he’s older. Undeterred by her dismissal in his skills and longing to fit in and see the world, he begs his tutor and nanny, Selene Star, to help him learn the spell. She relents, as she too is heartbroken by how Pyrinos is treated despite being a very kind-hearted child.
2-3) “Remember, highness. Focus on how you want to look, imaging your body slowly changing into that image bit by bit, starting from your head to your tail. I believe in you!”
When Pyrinos finally managed to successfully cast a glamour spell on himself and looked like a normal pony instead of “a monster.” It took him weeks to finally be able to cast but with the help of his tutor Selene Star (Marina in disguise), he was at last able to fit in without ponies cowering away from him in fear.
He can only keep the spell up for small periods of time (about an hour or so) at first so Selene enchants a necklace with the same spell that should last him for a few years – long enough that he can master the spell on his own.
