I almost forgot to make this!

You know, this was a tricky one. Because for some months, I had like 3 or 4 pieces that I felt were worth putting here (COUGH June and July were some of my best art months ever COUGH), while other months… I literally didn’t post anything Sweating a little…

So what I did here is that I placed the artworks based on the month I made them rather than the one when I posted them online. Hence why there’s a Flashlight Week entry in May, and something in November at all. I couldn’t cheat December, though. While part of me misses drawing, a bigger part of me is feeling immensely peaceful about taking some time off for myself. Still not sure when I’ll feel ready to grab a pencil or my drawing tablet again, but I’m not trying to pressure myself either. I feel like I’ve earned this break and I’m enjoying it while it lasts.

While this year hasn’t been the best for me personally (for stuff I won’t go into much detail here), I do have to admit it was a great year for my art! I’m super proud of my improvement, and while I do still have a lot to learn, I feel a lot more confident than I did before when it comes to my skills. And I am glad I managed to achieve my goal of expanding my art to other fandoms. I know not all of you are huge Marvel or Star Wars, but most of you did still support me, and I want to thank you for that. And even if you don’t, I’m still not planning on stopping my SciFlash pics anytime soon, so don’t worry there ;)

Since I’m still at college and now with a new schedule, I can’t promise that my art will be any more frequent. And this small break I’m taking has proven me that it’s okay to slow things down and don’t force things on myself, even my hobby. So, whenever I start drawing and sharing those pictures again, I hope you guys will enjoy them. Because I sure will :)

Btw, I would say all the “Happy New Year, see you in a new decade” stuff right now, but there is one more thing it’d like to post before 2019 ends, so be on the look-out ;)
