Behold Shining Armor, the alicorn of protection!

Shining Armor really needs to be an alicorn. Seriously. If there was one thing the show could have used, it was a guy alicorn. (Other than Big Mac, who totally counts.) But technically, we don’t see the older version of him, Cadence, or Flurry at the end of the show, so it could totally have happened.  I’m not sure if I want to put this in my Ascension AU, or if I want it to be part of my headcanon for the main series. It could go either way, or both. So until and unless I figure out some backstory for this, it’s going to float around in limbo.
