Walking down a street in Manehatten, Quill noticed a pony sitting on a bench in the park he sometimes go to. Quill walked up to the pony to notice that it had goggles on it’s head, a top hat next to it, and it was holding a strange gadget that appeared to look like wings. Quill asked it why it was here? The pony was lost in sad space and so was startled to see him, Quill can easily tell that the pony was: Socially awkward, homeless, and probably having some sort of life crisis involving it’s talent and bits. Quill insisted that the pony should live with him for that he has plenty of food and shelter and resources for the gadget, the pony nodded.

So here is how the two live together, opening up a little the pony reveals that it’s name is Clockwork Crow and that Crow is an inventor of sorts. But sadly due to certain inventions not being yet known during the current timeline(Season 1 to that episode that involved a trading market that had that pony in the steampunk looking wheelchair), so Crow was basically broke in which couldn’t pay the landlord in time blah blah blah, etc etc etc, Crow lives with Quill because books are a thing in the show and why not. Quill can easily pay for everything Crow needs because his book is one of those top 5 books that you usually don’t here. Their “friendship” mostly consists of non-verbal communication, while the rest involves something going wrong with Crow’s inventions(use your imagination).

The picture above is just a little thing of Quill writing some inspiration for his book while Crow watches the pen move fast across the paper with awe.

Ps: Quill still wonders if Crow is a mare or a colt because reasons and the creator doesn’t know so it’ll be one of those characters lol.
