DM: I’ve… run out of roleplaying for this section.

Twilight Sparkle: You could describe all the guests we greet!

DM: Yeah, I’m not doing that. There’s over a hundred ponies at this party.

Rarity: I suppose I’ll step onto the stage, then. I travel through a side passage first so as to not be seen with the others.

DM: As you wander into the entrance hall, you catch sight of your target. Just a glimpse of him as he heads into the gardens. He seems to make eye contact with you with a bit of smirk before he disappears through the gateway.

Fluttershy: I don’t know why… but that makes me nervous…

Rarity: Alright, Ra- I mean Dainty Dove. Hurry, but not too fast. Don’t lose him, but play it cool, but don’t be cold.

Applejack:

<sigh> Of course you studied for this.<br/>
Rarity: Engineering a royal romance is not something you just do spontaneously.
