If you’ve been reading these Author Notes often enough, you know that I find voice acting to be one of the more difficult tools in the DM’s arsenal.

Vocalizing sound effects, on the other hand, I find much easier and just as effective if well-placed.

Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving to us in the US!

Fluttershy: You’re… joking, right? Please?

Twilight Sparkle: There’s NO way that ears flopping somehow means “giant monster attack.”

Applejack: Girls, she’s the “PPPM” right now. Pinkie’s ears mean whatever she wants them to mean.

Fluttershy: Um… I’m putting the frogs somewhere safe for now.

Twilight Sparkle: Okay! Okay okay okay. Giant monster attack. What kind of monster? When? How can we prepare for it?

Pinkie Pie: I don’t know! That’s all the ear flops say!

Twilight Sparkle: WHAT KIND OF SEER ARE YOU THEN?!

SFX: (BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!)

Fluttershy: W-What was that?

PM: A giant… monster’s… footsteps.

Applejack: PM… you scary.
