Ever since Butter Loaf and Sweet Spot got married, they knew that they wanted a little foal to love just as much as they loved eachother, so they were pretty excited to hear that they were expecting. They could barley wait until they could have their own little helper at the Pastry House!

After their little colt was born, they knew he would have a soft spot in their hearts forever, and that’s how he got his name, Soft Spot. All the nurses and doctors adored him as much as his parents did, they claimed that Soft Spot was the most adorable, fuzzy, warm and healthy baby colt they’ve ever seen! Butter and Sweet were such proud pony parents, and on their way home from the hospital they were surprised with another baby, Hatchet, on their doorstep.

Hatchet was an orphan, no one knows who his real parents are. All Hatchet knows is that they set him on the steps of a certain baker and candy maker couple, but they were not home at the moment, they were busy with their own foal affairs  
When they returned home from the hospital, they had their first and only baby foal, Soft Spot. Or so they thought! Once they got home they noticed the little surprise on their doorstep, a baby colt not more than a few days old himself, with a little tag that said “Hatchet”. 

The baker and candymaker looked at each other and looked at their own little foal, then down at the little baby Hatchet staring up at them with his big, tired eyes, and they knew that they couldn’t leave him  
So they took Soft Spot and their other son Hatchet, to show them the house they would grow up in, as brothers

Once they brought in both their baby boys, they knew that this would be a start of a wonderful family.

The main point of this was to just add character to the parents of two of my four main OCs, Hatchet and Soft Spot. Their parents are not a part of my main four OCs(Dew Drop, Starry Night, Hatchet and Soft Spot) but I thought it would help my OCs and fill in their character to both me and anyone else who wanted to know more about them! 

I have yet to decide whether or not ill do a similar picture of Starry and his mom, and Dew and her family. For now, I hope you enjoyed meeting Hatchet and Soft Spots parents!
