Description:
Starlight Glimmer is searching for a perfect gift for her childhood friend, Sunburst, but however, she doesn’t know which is the best gift she could buy. After watching a commercial about a car called the Hirochi Sunburst, Starlight finds out this would the best gift ever, thinking that Sunburst might have a driver’s license and the car’s model name fits right to Sunburst’s name. After collecting a lot of bits, Starlight finally purchased the car in the local Hirochi dealership in Ponyville, it was a yellow 2.0 Sport model with a manual transmission and an optional sunroof. After some complete registration of the car, She delivered and drove the car in a quite long journey from Twilight’s Castle to Sunburst’s house in Crystal Empire with a letter and left it there parked alone in front of his house. With the delivery completed, Starlight goes back home by boarding the Friendship Express, soon, Sunburst goes out from his house and reacted the car, along reading its model name (Yes, he did watched the car’s commercial too, lol), much to his chagrin, but still, he totally likes it, at least if the citizens of Crystal Empire and beyond Equestria would laugh at him when they see him driving this car…
A lot of you confused why I’ve keep saying “Hirochi Sunburst” all over and over again in several comment posts found on pics featuring Sunburst in the past, I’ve decided to reveal that reference, I’m actually referencing a fictional compact car from BeamNG.drive, the Hirochi Sunburst, it is based on the Subaru Impreza, particularly a mix between second and third generation Imprezas. When I was first glanced to this car and thinking about Sunburst in MLP:FiM, I’ll be like “Hey, why not?”, this is where those lines were came from, I’m still enjoying using those lines in my comment posts right now.
Because of this namesake, I would like to see this reference to go trending in this MLP fandom, it would be a nice name pun to have, would like to see someone here must create a MLP Sunburst paintjob for this car in the game.
