Description:
*Sonder Nighthawk* Sonder has a good bit of his father’s nature in him and his appearance shows several traits of the Umbrum species. Due to the wispy nature of the Queens’ hair he is generally more accepted among the public than his younger sister, who displays bat pony traits. Sonder has a militaristic mind and grew up following around Sombra to his meetings of defense and security for Equestria and found the endeavor meaningful. Equestria was generally a peaceful country but some things always crop up or dignitary visits might go wrong. Sonder’s magic generally falls on the darker side of things, though that doesn’t necessarily mean evil. Luna is very close to the queen of Tartarus and when Sonder’s magic leaned more towards messing with minds and summoning, Luna asked the Queen for some advice on how to give the young stallion in controlling and limiting his powers. Sonder is fiercely protective of his siblings and isn’t above playing small tricks on those who mess with them.Wolf River
Wolf River inherited quite a bit of Big Macintosh’s demeanor but Fluttershy’s love of animals. When he was young, Wolf had wandered a little too far into the Everfree forest and got surrounded by a pack of timber wolves. Wolf was afraid but he knew that in a situation like this he needed to stand his ground. Imagine his parents surprise that when they frantically found him a few hours later he had the pack leader wrapped around his hoof and a brand new cutie mark on his flank. Wolf very rarely gets riled up but will use his influence to control the timber wolves that run the everfree forest, though some of the packs need a bit of a firmer hand before that are brought to heel. Wolf takes his work around the farm quite seriously and can sometimes get overworked like his Aunt Applejack used to, that is until a stupid, cocky, too forward (read adorable) explorer stallion started barrelling into his business and wouldn’t take no for an answer.
Arctic Gale
Arctic Gale isn’t quite what one would expect as a son of the pony who literally represented friendship, he’s a bit cold, callous, and doesn’t seem all that interested in making friends. He carries around quite a seemingly haughty nature to the general population and really doesn’t bother to correct that image, he’s had too many creatures attempt to use or try to buy their way into his good graces in hopes of earning his favor or getting personal access to Duchess Twilight Sparkle and has a general distrust for anyone trying to start a friendship due to this. He believes strongly in the truth of the law and graduates college, top of his class, and moves to the Crystal Empire to be a prosecutor there. He might have also chose the Crystal Empire to get away from his worrying Mothers’, he loves both Twilight and Starlight dearly, but their friend-ervintions and lessons were just too much, he didn’t need those who just wanted to climb the social or power ladder through him.
Joss Spice
Joss Spice seems to have inherited his poofy mane and wings from his great-grandmother Surprise, but that’s about all he got from the lighter side of the Pie family. Joss is otherwise calm like his parents and takes after Mud Briar’s love of sticks. Unlike the three aforementioned boys, Joss will do anything to avoid a fight. It’s not in his nature to be combative and would much rather clear his mind and indulge his senses in the calming scents of his incense. Joss and his sister Violet are very close and share the same sense of dark although dry humor, it can make other ponies nervous as they can’t decide if the pair are kidding or not. When they get older Joss and Violet run an earth remedies shop together, selling all sorts of healing crystals, incense, and charms that help bolster a creature’s energy or balance out their emotions, it ends up being very successful for the high stress energy of Canterlot.
