As the sunset glimmered over Ponyville, a certain purple alicorn trotted over from the hospital back to her sparkly crystal castle. Her blue mane waved in the subtle wind. Her purple eyes were full of joy and hope. She trotted up the yellow stairs to the main door. She opened it with her pink magic, and closed it behind her. It was already quite dark. Much darker than what she had expected. It was understandable, since the days became shorter the closer they got to winter. Luckily, she didn’t have to participate in Winter wrap up next spring. She was busy with her family.

Suddenly, she heard hoof sound echoing in the emptiness of the castle. A gray unicorn filly peered at her mother from the stairs. 

- Mom! he said, quickly jumping over to her. 

- Hey Silver! How have you been? Were you naughty? Did uncle Shining yell at you? 

Twilight pat her son on the head with her hoof, as he laughed.

- Haha! No! What do you think?

Twilight giggled a bit. 

Then, they both heard two ponies come in to the great hall. 

- Twily! Shining Armor excitedly said. – Are you exhausted? Where’s the baby?

- Hey dad, chill. I’m sure it’s been real tough, Flurry Heart said and pulled her father back with her magic. 

- yeah right, the baby! twilight chuckled and sat down. He took the mysterious blanket from her large backpack, which was open for some reason. The blanket was wrapped around something. 

- Woah… Silver said in awe as he saw his baby sister. Her dark purple fur, and striped hair. She had red eyes, which she had inherited from her father. 

As the three ponies gathered around Twilight and her son, Twilight explained.

- I haven’t thought of a name yet. Mainly because I didn’t know if it would be a mare or a stallion. Any suggestions?

- Oh oh oh! Shining Armor said first. – How about Twinkly Glitter?

- ugh, Flurry cut him off. – Superstar’s the name to go for my cousin! 

Twilight looked at Silver, her first child. She was waiting for his opinion. After a few seconds of thinking, Silver said:

- How about we combine the two? Twinkly Star!

Everyone seemed happy with the name. twilight looked back at her newborn filly, and said:

- Hey Twinkly Star. I’m Twilight.
