Description:

So, I know typically at this point I would post a bio of their kid(s), but I’m going to be honest here. I’m a little bit of a procrastinator, which is is why the bio(s) not quite done. Hopefully, I will get it finished  sometime today. Meanwhile, here are some RariJoe doodles while you wait.

  1. Joe:“ Hey, are ya almost done with the eclairs over there?”

Rarity:”Not quite. You can’t rush perfection, dear.”

Joe:walks over “Uh-huh. I see. Looks good, but I think you missed a spot.”

Rarity:* stops working* “ Where?”

Joe: “There.” dabs frosting on nose

Is this Rarity getting a cooking lesson from Joe? Is this them on their 36th date? Is this the married couple working together? You decide! Also, who here doesn’t like eclairs? Anyone? Just me? Okay.

  1. Joe: “ungggggg……are ya almost done?”

Rarity: “ I would have been down a half an hour ago if you’d just stop squirming! Really Joey, you’re worse than Rainbow Dash on hot summer day. And trust me, I had to tie that mare to a chair just to pin on the pinafore! Do I need to tie you up too?”

Joe: “Noooooo-ouch!”

Rarity:“ There now, I hardly pricked you. Just sit still and you’re new suit will be done in no time.”

It is my little pet headcanon that Doughnut joe has a slight phobia for needles. Let us hope he never gets diabetes. Of course, when you marry a seamstress, needles are a part of the deal. So every once in a while, Joe has to bear with his wife as she makes him new clothes or uses him a model for her stallions fashion line.

Rarity: “ Why you prissy, prim, snobbish, stuck up, cheap branded of a mare;you listen up you little-“

Joe: “ There now, I’m sure she didn’t mean anything by it, deary. After all, with glasses that thick, I’m surprised she can see three feet in front of her, much less see your work of art. Let’s go cool down with some punch and sponge cake, hmm?”

This ‘what if’ scenario, is if one pushy, upstuck, high-riding critic crossed the line in pushing Rarity’s buttons. As for Joe, I feel like even though he wouldn’t necessarily go head to head with ponies like these, he doesn’t mind throwing some shade on them on behalf of his wife while maintaining his cool, causal demeanor. He also helps to tone down Rarity’s dramatic side, which happens more often than you think. Sponge cake is also a good back up plan when trying to calm her down.
