Artist’s description from DA:

I found an old sketch I did for Fluttershy’s Age Thingy and I really liked how it looked ‘cause it was cute. So I decided to fine-tune the anatomy and lines of the drawing to better fit how I draw now, and decided to give it the same treatment I did with this doodle and give it some color via mouse and photoshop. I think I’m getting a little better at it; it wasn’t nearly as hard as it was before. o3o

Anyway, this image depicts a toddler Fluttershy with my version of her father, Sunburst. The two of them settled down for a nap, but Sunburst ended up dozing off first. Fluttershy, on the other hand, is wide awake. Shy Shy was a pretty quiet and observant foal, though, so she was quite content to study the face of her father as he got some well-deserved rest.

Sunburst in my headcanon was a firefighter, and he was hailed a hero more than once for his brave actions during his job. Sadly, Sunburst passed away when Shy was in middle school; he gave his life saving a group of ponies still trapped in a burning building. His death greatly affected both Fluttershy and his wife, Posey, and it’s part of the reason why Fluttershy became as reserved as she was before coming out of her shell again. o3o

So I MIGHT turn this into a button and maybe even a small print, but I haven’t decided yet. What do you guys think?
