General info:

Orchard was born to a young Applejack, though it is very much unlike her to slip up in such a way, she’s glad that it brought Orchard to her. And because of that he’s very much of a momma’s boy, he loves to help her out in any way that he can. But he’s a little bit bitter when it comes to his dad, Flim has no idea that he has a son, which Orchard is perfectly fine with, he has no interest in meeting him but it’s a topic that’s better left untouched. He loves the farm, he feels really in tune with the trees and works hard to keep everything healthy and growing. He secretly hopes that he’ll inherit The Sweet Apple Acres someday, he want’s to make his life there and to raise a lot of children there as well.

*Relationships: *

He gets along perfectly with his family, and he’s really close to Caramel. He loves his little siblings, and appreciates that they stay out of his hair most of the time. He worries a lot about Pippin, he doesn’t like that he will go a whole day without seeing him, but tries not to worry about him too much.

He’s not particularly close to his cousins, but sees Big Mac as his mentor. Big Mac taught him all that he needed to know to take care of every aspect of the farm,  and he still continues to learn from him.

Out of all the next gen. kids, Starswirl is his best friend. They were really close as kids and even though they don’t see each other as often, they’re always able to pick up on their relationship where they left off.

He’s in a relationship with Velvet Dawn, they’ve been friends since they were children, and they met thanks to StarSwirl. He’s liked Vel since then, but hasn’t put much thought into being with her, because she’s always been interested in other colts. But he’s always been supportive of her in everything and anything that she does, and that’s when she realized that she really loves him. They’ll eventually get married.
