So yes, a couple of days ago I saw the pony movie (it was really funny to sit near mommies and their kids in the cinema) and I liked it, though I have several questions, like who the heck is the Storm King and where did he come from, why are the princesses shown so weak and useless AGAIN, why was there not a single guard at the friendship festival and so on. But I guess I shouldn’t really overthink it. :D

I liked almost all the new characters and it’s a shame we don’t have a chance to learn much about them because of the limited screentime (and I don’t want to look for official comics in order to learn more). My most favourite character of all the ones that were introduced is, as you can guess, Capper the cat. His song is the only one from the movie that got stuck in my head (ugh it’s TOO CATCHY). Also I liked the way he was animated (so damn smooth and graceful), though all the characters were animated nicely. Oh, and in the Russian dub Capper’s name was “Khitriy Khvost” which literally means “Tricky Tail” (don’t know why they did that, don’t ask me). And he was supposed to slimmer than in my picture, but boy, it’s SO HARD to draw antropomorphic cats.
