Mistc Gem woke up early the next morning, as she usually did and got ready for the day. She then left her room to get a quick bite to eat before heading off to the morning meeting with Queen Celestia. She arrived to the dining area where all the food was and saw her older brother, Shooting Star, in there

Mistic Gem:Well, I’m surprised to see you up this early*walks over to her brother*

Shooting Star:*looks at Mistic Gem and chuckles*Ah, do you think you’re the only early riser, Mistic?

Mistic Gem: Of course not, Shooting. I am well aware that there’s other ponies who rise soon after the sun does like myself, but you’re not one of them. Why the sudden change?

Shooting Star:That is not important. I’m aware you heard what happened last night, yes?takes a sip of his tea

Mistic Gem:*nods*Indeed I did. Such a shame though, I do hope they find him before it’s too late.

Shooting Star:As do I, Mistic. Now, why are you all dressed in your armor? Are you going to go see that pegasus fellow you’ve been hanging around with? Impress him a little bit with your armor. His name’s Ryan, correct?

Mistic Gem:*lightly blushes and laughs slightly*Just cause I’m friends with a common stallion doesn’t mean you get to poke around in my business, Shooting.

Shooting Star:I know but as your older brother, it’s my job to watch over you.

Mistic Gem: Did you forget that I’m part of the Royal guard, Shooting?

Shooting Star:Not at all. Jokes aside, why do you actually have your armor on?

Mistic Gem:The Royal guard has a meeting with the queen this morning, which is actually coming up quick so I’ll just have to grab something small to eat on the way there. I’ll eat a bigger meal after.grabs a donut and an apple with her magic*I’ll see you and Xander later. Bye!*walks out of the dining room quickly

Shooting Star:*calls after Mistic Gem*Bye, Mistic!*looks back at his now cold tea and sighs*Pray to Celestia that Mistic isn’t assigned to head off to the Crystal Empire….
