Name: Tenor Star Nicknames: Tenstar/T. Star, Tenten, Starboy, Starry Eyes Gender: Male Species: Earth Pony Father: Limelight Mother: Coloratura, Songbird Serenade (Step-Mom) Sibling: Tessitura Role: Performer/Singer — - Tenor Star is the only child of Coloratura and Limelight. Born from secrecy, the media discovered Coloratura was pregnant, and eventually linked it to a passionate night with one of her recent backup dancers, Limelight; When she was “Countess Coloratura”. After months of paparazzi and tabloids quoting their relationship as a “scandal”, Rara finally decided to end it with Limelight in a mutual break up, announcing their affair was over and asked them to leave Limelight and their love child alone. Despite her public pleas, the media still pursued Limelight, but eventually eased off of him due to no longer having intimate relations with Rara. Now Limelight can visit Tenor whenever he wants; give or take a few minor headlines every once in a while. - Tenor followed after his family in the music biz, and became a virtuoso in performance and music. He is a Pop sensation Equestria-wide, but has been known to dab into rock or metal every now and again. - The star on his chest is a marking he was born with, and the reason Rara gave him the name “Tenor Star.” She and Limelight took it as a sign that he was destined to shine. - Tenor grew up with a love of music; much like his mother. However, he seemed more interested in her previous recordings as Countess Coloratura than her current performances as Rara. Although Coloratura wanted that life behind her, she could tell her son was interested in it. So she undug her old “Countess Coloratura” accessories and tapes and let him explore them. He kept a collar and some cuffs, and would sit in front of the projection screen for hours watching his mother perform. He loved the lights, the strobes, the fog machine; he loved everything about it. Coloratura didn’t want to go back to the way she was before, but it kind of made her feel proud of it after seeing how much her son loved it. It wasn’t long until Tenor asked her to help him write some songs of his own. - It took almost a year, but with his mothers help, Tenor Star was able to complete his first song and routine and was ready to perform it at the talent show at the school he was attending. Although he forgot some of the words and slipped in his steps, Coloratura never saw a bigger smile on his face, and Tenor Star earned his cutie mark that day; Knowing that that was his role in life. (After a little practice) - Over the next few years, Coloratura let Tenor Star open for her concerts, and as he got better, the more of an audience he helped pack in. Eventually the two of them even attracted other major pony celebrities like Sapphire Shores and Songbird Serenade to the crowd. Songbird praised Tenor for having such a wonderful spirit and voice for his age, and congratulated Coloratura on raising such a talented child. Songbird invited them to VIP at her next performance, which Tenor Star was very excited for. This back and forth friendship between Coloratura and Songbird Serenade eventually led to a relationship, and a public announcement that they were in love and expecting a child. Tenor at first did not understand how his mother could be pregnant again, not realizing magic played a hand at it, but was excited to find out about being a big brother. This led to the birth of his little sister, Tessitura. - Tenor loved Tessitura, and he couldn’t wait to share everything he had learned about their mother to her. The older she got, the more she understood, and she started showing interest in it as well; but only with Tenor. Whenever Coloratura or Songbird would ask her if she wanted to sing, she would shake her head and say “not without Tenstar.” – Which was where Tenor Star got his stage name “Tenstar” from. - Now older, Tenor and Tessi with give duet performances sometimes, but the two of them seem to do their own things now. Tenstar is one of the highest grossing pop artists, and has gained many fans and admirers. (Two of which are Serenata and Roxy) Despite his high popularity and newfound wealth, Tenor never lets it go to his head. He is kind and generous, and never lets anything get to him.
