Me: “Why, yes I am. Please don’t be scared…”
Stallion: “You… seem to not remember me. Um, we went to grade school together.”
Me: “We did? …I don’t remember you.”
Stallion: “Oh, well, I—”
“It then came to me right at that moment.”
Me: “Wait… Are you…?”
“He then nodded. Just then, I felt a huge rush of blood going away from my head and down to my heart. It was racing five hundred miles a minute, at least, that what it felt like. After all this time, years of trauma, and especially after what I went through that night… He’s right in front of me… I didn’t know what to do. It felt like we stood there, staring at each other for hours. The tension was so high. Everything was at a stand still. I couldn’t even think about what I wanted to say first. Should I run away? Should I yell at him? Should I finally get revenge? I didn’t know what to do. Luckily, he broke the silence…”
